OWL Ambassadors™
OWL Ambassadors™: Becoming Health-Literate Leaders
OWL Ambassadors™ prepares high school students to take ownership of their health, well‑being, and decision‑making as they transition into adulthood. Designed for grades 9–12, the program offers advanced, real‑world health literacy education that strengthens students’ ability to evaluate information, advocate for themselves, and contribute to healthier communities.
Through engaging health literacy content, students develop the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to become health-literate leaders capable of understanding health information, making informed decisions, communicating effectively, and positively influencing the health and well-being of others.
Aligned with the National Health Education Standards (NHES), OWL Ambassadors™ helps schools refine or expand wellness frameworks and high‑school health curricula. The program helps schools deliver consistent, evidence‑based instruction that meets national expectations while addressing the unique challenges older adolescents face.
OWL Ambassadors™ helps high school students move from preparing for healthy choices to becoming more confident, informed, and empowered health-literate leaders who can advocate for their own well-being while positively influencing the health of their families, peers, and communities as they prepare for life beyond high school.
